Oasis fans everywhere will now be able to replicate Liam Gallagher’s trademark style with his new line of cagoules, shirts, hats, scarves and, of course, the ever-present parka. Over 100,000 eager shoppers crashed the site last week after the Pretty Green site launched. But the glitch has been fixed and the site is running like a charm, featuring a web video of Gallagher and a community blog. Liam Gallagher is typically deadpan about his new venture: "I’m really looking forward to it and I think it’s gonna be good. The reason I’m doing it is that I love clothes." The styles will all be classic and retro in design. Gallagher insists that nothing "wild" will slip past him. "I’m not into this skinny look," he says. "None of these skinny things, man. And those f**king pointy shoes. They come at you like a snooker cue. I’m like, do you have a licence for those bastards?" "I’m not gonna be putting anything out unless I’d wear it," he continues. The launch coincides with news that Oasis, like rival nineties band Blur, will be touring again this year. So has this entrepreneurial Gallagher given up his hell-raising? Unlikely. "I’ve changed gear a bit but I’m still speeding," he says. Related articles The UK’s new celebrity entrepreneurs Which celeb would you employ? Celebrity endorsement for food entrepreneur
