The results are out: Women own 21 pairs of shoes on average – wow. If that’s the case then a seasonal gift can’t get any better than the “year of shoes” offering from Loeffler Randall.
DUO Boots claimed in its study of 2,000 females that it had unveiled the typical woman’s wardrobe. On average, women have 21 pairs, nine of which will never be worn after purchase. Cheryl Cole herself actually admitted to having a whopping 2,000 pairs.
It was also found that females spent £6,500 by the age of 40 on feet coverings. Of this, a spokeswoman for DUO Boots said: “Interestingly almost half of our shoe collection goes unworn – we end up wearing our comfiest shoes most often, whilst our impulse buys barely see the light of day.
“Nonetheless, it’s always fun to treat yourself to a gorgeous pair of heels.”
With the latter thought in mind, there’s one gift that will stand out in the crowd – and it involves Loeffler Randall, which calls itself a brand “for women who lead dynamic lives”. The company has one very unique offering, labelled “a year of shoes”.
A payment of $5,000 will enable any shoe lover to order a fresh pair of shoes each month as part of Loeffler Randall’s VIP gift program.
If that amount sounds too pricy for you then the same opportunity can be had for $1,500. The only difference is that you’ll only be able to order shoes on a seasonal basis.
What shoes would you be offering a client? Well, Loeffler Randall founder Jessie Randall explained they were the kind of shoes that “felt like a natural extension of her style – understated, elegant and effortless.
“We create modern shoes that are the building blocks of a stellar wardrobe; the go-to items that will never sit in the closet because they are a little bit daring and beautifully-well made.”
