Had had a couple of “thinking” days, which I should allow myself more often as I am supposed to be the strategist. Taking on some useful advice, I proposed that we step back a little. We have been fire fighting in our enthusiasm to put everything right and make several million overnight. This, inevitably, has been causing us to achieve neither and management teetering on burn out. Instead, spent weekend following up my proposals with some concrete plans as to the year’s planning, linking it to our strategic plans and spreading out the enormous projects that we have on in all direction. This should enable us both to attain targets one by one and even, maybe, leave time for us to breathe as well. Wow!!
