Bigger undertaking than usual as want to put both the HR training on this that we all had recently into effect (before we forget it) plus introduce the nine new company values at every opportunity. Have given first group of staff the new forms and impressed on them that with the new style of assessments, they will be expected to do the majority of the talking plus display a good knowledge of the values. Was severely frightened recently to find that between our new four line managers, they could only scrape up a couple when tested. Am briefly encouraged to find shop floor staff taking this learning more seriously until it emerges that some wit has spread the rumour that anyone not word perfect on values will be instantly sacked. Should never under estimate my staff’s sense of humour.
