On Jim Collins

Good to Great, written by Jim Collins, is one of the most influential books on modern management theory.

Being good is difficult and requires real effort, but being great requires true passion. In his book, Collins defines the underlying variables needed to make the leap from good to great.

In essence, it involves being in the right business, getting the best people on board and delivering excellence in everything you do. Once you have the right people with the passion and drive to succeed the rest should come.

This is the method we have applied in PEER 1 helping us to become a world class hosting company.

Dominic Monkhouse is the MD of PEER 1 Hosting. He contributed to “Business Gurus”, a new book published by Crimson Publishing this month which describes entrepreneurs’ business heroes.
