Nectar Business is the UK’s leading loyalty programme for small businesses allowing you to collect Nectar points on your everyday business purchases and then spend them on rewards for your business and treats for you – it’s that simple.

Nectar Business has joined forces with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and Karren Brady to launch the “Nectar Business Guide to Start-up Success”; packed with top tips for anybody about to undertake their first year in business.

Full of guidance for budding business owners, topics covered range from building a business plan, advice on what you’ll need to get started, sales and marketing and financing, including helpful insights from leading UK business woman and star of BBC 1’s The Apprentice, Karren Brady.

Sandy Harris, chairman of member services, Federation of Small Businesses says: “Our partnership with Nectar Business combines our efforts to help small businesses establish themselves and our commitment to their continued growth. We believe the helpful tips and easy to follow step-by-step advice offered in the guide will help ensure that start-ups have a good footing to find success from day one.”

Also within the guide are details of how one UK business can win a business makeover with Karren Brady, simply by nominating their top tip for business start-up success. The prize includes a two hour business consultation with Karren, 50,000 Nectar points and prizes from Nectar Business partners; Viking, Dulux Decorating Centres and DHL. Five runners up will also receive 20,000 Nectar points. The competition closes on September 30, 2011.

Nectar Business members can collect with partners including Viking, Dulux Decorator Centres, Brakes, BOC, Hertz, Premierline Direct and DHL and over 500 retailers – from Amazon and PC World to Mc Affee and BT Business. Well-earned points can then be spent with Viking, Dulux Decorator Centres, Brakes, Philips, Argos, Expedia and Eurostar.
