Chief exec Bill Westwater said: “Xeros’ technology has the potential to transform a number of industries globally and our planned Admission to AIM will help accelerate our roll-out in commercial laundry and fund development through to commercialisation in other identified markets.”
Xeros’s technology uses absorbent polymer beads to effectively smash dirt out of textiles, reducing the need for energy, detergent and water.
It’s currently only available for the commercial laundry market but the company has produced a beta prototype for home use and the tech also has potential applications in the leather processing industry.
Westwater told Real Business back in January that Xeros are “on a mission to make cleanliness virtually waterless.”
