Speaking at the Perfect Pitch Business Conference at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, Richard Branson had this advice for entrepreneurs:
.) Don’t criticize employees. Leaders who have bad tempers need to learn to keep them in check.
.) Have fun, let your hair down as a leader to develop a strong commitment among employees in a company.
.) Have plenty of cash to pay the basic bills.
.) Don’t be wedded to your bank, seek out the best terms.
.) A small amount of money can often build a business.
.) A company is an idea, if people love what you’re doing then they’ll be passionate.
.) Branding is important but a great product stands out from the crowd.Easier said than done? Would you add anything to these basic precepts? Add your comment below.
