Held in association with Real Business, ‘Funding and IP for New Ventures’ will take place on Thursday 5th June between 5.45 and 8.00 pm.
Hosted by new product development contractor Pera Technology, intellectual property advisors Mathys and Squire LLP and leading angel investment network London Business Angels, the event will provide entrepreneurs and start-ups with advice on securing grant funding, focusing a limited IP budget, and attracting angel investment.
Simon Day from Pera Technology said: “Securing finance is one of the most important factors in the success of any new venture. With this event entrepreneurs have the opportunity to find out more about a range of funding options, as well as how to effectively protect the resultant IP and achieve long-term sustainable growth.”
Ilya Kazi, partner at Mathys & Squire, said: “Only around 15 per cent of small companies have ever sought advice about protecting their intellectual property meaning many are exposed to the threat of losing out to competitors. At this event we will explain the steps that early stage start-ups and entrepreneurs need to take to ensure they protect their business and generate maximum value from their ideas and creativity.”
