Spinvox for sale: report

The BBC says investment firm Invesco Perpetual believes the value of its stake in the company has reduced by 90 per cent from £759,000 to £76,000.

"The business has been put up for sale, and it is possible that, should a good sales price be achieved, the new valuation may be exceeded," Invesco Perpetual said in its report.

Spinvox was once the darling of the UK’s entrepreneurial tech scene but during the summer, it was alleged that Christina Domecq’s voice-to-text firm relies heavily on call centre workers rather than groundbreaking technology.

That was followed by claims of financial mismanagement.
