Clothing giant Primark has today revealed the effects COVID-19 has had on its business.
What Primark’s cheery retail performance shows is that consumers prefer to buy from streamlined brands that nail their markets over bloated department stores who don’t understand their customers any more.
Primark landed itself in hot water, after failing to protect one of its transgender employees from the abuse of colleagues. The company promptly found itself in court, slapped with a gender reassignment discrimination badge. There is, of course, a lesson to be learned.
