London is a hotbed of art and design right now. To whet the appetite before the contemporary design show gets underway, here are four must-see shows taking place in the UK’s capital this autumn.

1. designjunction2015, 24-27 September – http://thedesignjunction.co.uk/

Spread over two central sites – The College (former home to Central St. Martins) and Victoria House – designjunction2015 promises to be one of the highlights of the year for design lovers.

As well as design-led pop-ups, there will be workshops, flash factories and talks from some of the world’s leading industry figures. What’s more, an ‘emporium of eateries’ will provide fuel throughout the day. For a third consecutive year, lightjunction will again be a popular draw as the capital’s leading destination for high-end, contemporary lighting.

Designjunction has already held events this year in Milan and New York, but their London show is their flagship, housing collections from more than 200 brands, spanning architecture, art and interior design.

It promises to be a great place to get close up to future contemporary interior design and culture trends from around the world. Advanced public tickets are selling fast, so book early for guaranteed good value entry.
