Wow, am I cross! Have seen the calls for Lord Sugar’s resignation. It comes as no surprise to anyone who read my rave comments on him earlier in the week that I am furious! What is wrong with the people in this country? Lord Sugar strips things back to basics and suggests we actually take responsibility for our performance and our mistakes – as we are quick enough to do with our successes – and the public goes wild. At the session I was at, Lord Sugar said the companies he had looked into who were having trouble with the banks only needed the number of an insolvency practitioner. Well, I am quite convinced in his ability to read a balance sheet so feel one can safely accept his assessment of the companies. Yet here are people whingeing that should have been lent money by the banks! Downright ridiculous.
