Founded back in 1979, Maindec Computer Solutions is a provider of IT support and services, which has arguably continued to achieve growth as the technology sector continues to thrive.

Indeed, the market’s success resulted in the launch of London Technology Week and the UK’s capital was declared Europe’s most popular tech hub – on track to boost its economy by £18bn in 2015.

Delivering support across the UK and Ireland, Maindec’s headquarters is in Buckinghamshire but the company also has other offices across the country in Glasgow, Bradford, Huntingdon, Redditch, London and Bristol.

The firm says it delivers maintenance and business critical services for major brands including HP, Fujitsu, Dell, IBM, Sun and Oracle. The nationwide support team provides service and warranties, with the regional offices housing spares and engineering teams.

Delivering service and warranty through our nationwide network of regional service centres, which also house our regional spares and engineering teams.

“Our regional operations are all dedicated to delivering the Maindec experience in their respective territories, resulting in unparalleled familiarity with customers’ systems and individual business requirements,” said the firm. “In this way, Maindec people become an extension of our customers’ IT teams, delivering lifetime value.

“To provide further enhanced value, we offer a range of consultative specialist IT engineering resources and professional services in Microsoft support and solutions, Mutiny networking monitoring, Cisco networking support and consultancy, personalised training, server and storage hardware and virtualisation.”

In June 2015, Maindec secured access to all 11 lots of the Crown Commercial Services’ Technology Services Framework, including desktop support, network management, infrastructure and platform, maintenance & support, disaster recovery, backup and data services, and more.

Paul Timms, Maindec’s group managing director, said: “This listing is a significant achievement for us, especially as we have won a place on all, available framework lots – which are based around our core business.

“This award, which has been made possible due to our team’s deep IT experience, high skill levels, service excellence and hard work, provides an excellent opportunity to further grow our business.”
