Since its inception, the company has evolved into one of the main contractors catering to prime London locations and has gone from strength to strength within the construction sector. Due to its success in the city, Grangewood can now afford to be selective when it comes to prospective clients. This is the reasoning behind why most of its projects come from repeat customers or via word of mouth recommendations among London’s elite. In fact, in lieu of its high-profile clientèle, the company established a private clients division in 2011, to focus solely on prime residential projects of up to around £10m in value. Its Grangewood Brickwork Services subsidiary, which has progressed to become one of the market leaders in brickwork and masonry throughout London and the South East, has shared the same boost in growth. Grangewood Brickwork attributed its success to its members of staff being passionate about the business, as well as the company’s “hands on – pro-active” approach to projects. It suggested that this strategy was responsible for over 85 per cent of projects being repeat customers. According to the company, its financial stability and reputation in the marketplace has enabled it to remain true to its principles of building excellence with integrity, while offering a service that is transparent and non-confrontational.
