It works in close conjunction with associate companies including Northern Steel Decking in Sheffield and Northern Steel Decking Scotland in Glasgow, to cultivate a nationwide distribution network for Composite Metal Flooring (CMF) decking systems.
Its head office is based in South Wales, and the business has established itself as experienced designers and installers for a wide range of floor decking, specialising in the Mefloor products.
Founded in 2009, the company has fewer than fifty employees, but has blossomed with a turnover of 24m and compound growth of 30.57 per cent. Current managing director Chris Phillips previously served as a construction director for ten years and has used his knowledge there to further develop the dynamic business, securing its place on our Hot 100 list.
Studwelders website declares it has worked across over 1,000 design projects totalling 1.5m square metres of decking over the past five years. Recent projects have included Westfield Stratford City part of one of the largest urban regeneration projects ever undertaken in the UK. It was built alongside the park for the 2012 London Olympics and Stratford City is the largest shopping and leisure mall in Europe.
Its also working on the Kings Avenue Mall in Cyprus which is currently under development. The total investment is expected to exceed 100m in its efforts to provide the ultimate shopping experience .
