Temp gone! Was part of a group berated for appalling work and then upped and announced he had to go home on urgent personal business and didn’t know when he would return. 

On inspecting work achieved despite admonishments, combined with dubious facebook comments, management had little trouble in suggesting that he took rest of week off at our expense but that we would be parting company. After two and a half weeks of temporary employment, this appeared to give temp right to email due abuse that this was an unfair dismissal and he would take us like he was taking previous employer – funny that, he had said at interview that he chose to leave! Clearly we are best shot even if it does mean a possible exciting trawl through the 90 per cent unemployable that still appear whenever we place an ad for untrained labour.
