Twitter Q&A: Storing business information effectively

1 Mins

Real Business and Fellowes have teamed up to host a Twitter Q&A on Friday February 7 at 11am.

The topic? Why effective archiving and storage of business information must be top of the agenda for every business owner in 2014.

Indeed, the much-debated new EU General Data Protection Regulations are set to be enforced in 2015, so there is not much time for British SMEs to update their records management procedures.

As the speed at which we’re gathering information has increased rapidly in recent years, many SMEs have been left with an unprecedented amount of paper records to manage and store. Effective records management is possible, however – the Bankers Box website, for example, offers hints and tips as well as a free-to-download Records Management Handbook to help businesses manage their data and records more effectively.

Martin Smith MBE, chairman and founder of The Security Company, and a leading corporate, risk management and security practitioner, will be on hand to answer all your questions about records management and the new EU regulations.

You can submit any questions you may have in advance by tweeting @Real_Business or leaving comments below.

Join us on Twitter on Friday February 7 at 11am to discuss the issues around storing and managing data effectively. The Q&A session will be hosted on the @Real_Business Twitter handle.

The Twitter Q&A and this article are sponsored by Fellowes.
