Unpacking the accessibility and range of executive learning

In days gone by, the popular route to further your career, secure a promotion or access new skills associated with running a growing company was to sign up for a corporate-backed MBA.

Now, however, there are a wide array of options at your disposal – ranging from one-day seminars to part-time programmes lasting a few months.

However, each option is about improving your ability to operate the company you’re at the helm of. Whether it’s learning how to deal with complex export markets or giving you an introduction to assembling that all important board, it has never been easier.

As such, Real Business will be using our focus section to look at the topic. We’ll be hearing from business schools, former students and growth companies to provide the inside track on executive learning.

Learning to do one thing better can be very powerful, as we’ll be finding out from those who have used executive learning courses to further themselves.

Addressing costs, regional availability, the cultural shift and success rates, we’ll make sure you have all you need to make an informed decision.

We’d also encourage you to join the discussion if you have experience of executive learning or just possess an opinion. It’s a topic that will draw together a wide range of people – after all, education is a great leveller.

Be sure to stay tuned in the next eight weeks as we begin our journey into the world of executive learning.
