David Spencer-Percival gave up his comfortable life, sold all the trappings of wealth, left behind a six-figure salary and started over again building a business from scratch.
“You need to be back in the nitty-gritty of negotiating,” said the entrepreneur behind energy recruiter Spencer-Ogden. “Anybody who wants to make that jump from being in a corporate environment, thinking they can’t do it: it is possible and incredibly cathartic. You feel so free once you’ve done it that you never want to go back.”
