Maria Eagle was yesterday asked about government support for women enterprise. This is her full answer. I am struck by the observation that "Women are the largest under represented group in terms of participation in enterprise". More "under represented", for example, than children; disabled people; former serving military police officers…? This seems to hail from the "statistical rabbit from the hat to make an impact" school of parliamentary answer.
