Where Quanta sees itself as being set apart from other recruitment agencies, is in its focus on being a “delivery company” not a “sales company”. It aims to help customers identify the underlying basis of a resourcing problem first and foremost, before suggesting hiring new people would immediately rectify the situation. As it stated on its website – “if you don’t fix the underlying problem, then you’ll just end up continually churning people through the business” which is “great for recruitment companies, but potentially crippling for you”.
Led by Stephen Trigg since its inception in 1992, Quanta’s ongoing growth is a credit to its founder and CEO – as it constantly seeks to set new standards of innovation and service in the recruitment industry. It initially focused on the banking and financial sectors, before it incorporated those operating in the mobile telecoms industry.
After expanding its scope of operations in 2002 to include clients within the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical business area, the client portfolio rapidly expanded over the next decade. Quanta now has clients from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Austria and the USA.
The “partnership” model it utilises has seen the company work successfully with clients in sectors that needed a high level of understanding of their industry, creating a base of contacts that help facilitate a solution.
