The kind folk at the BBC have put up a “Where are they now” page to satisfy our curiosity! Some movers and shakers (like Reggae Reggae Sauce) have seen stratospheric success: it’s hard to miss the rows of bottles in Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. But remember oldies but goldies like the EggXactly? James Seddon gave a pretty good pitch that day, but fell on his backside when his egg-toasting product proved defective. A year on, Seddon has cracked these issues and has an order for 4,000 of these widgets in the pipeline. How about the Bedlam Cube? These were a huge hit the Christmas after the show aired. Since then, inventor Danny Bamping seems to have gone to ground. But the BBC’s sources say he’ll soon be back with a new concept: Crazee Thingz. Check out the fortunes of these contestants and more on the BBC website.
